It’s tiring

One way communication is damn tiring, because you are not the ‘sending end’.

Fine.

I can smell it

I always heard people saying they can smell their ORD date, and I was like: “What the heck? Smell ORD date?” And now I finally know how “smelling” my ORD date is like.

Though it is like 30 days away from today, somewhere deep in my heart, I am darn happy.

Life decisions

Important decisions in life isn’t easy to make, but how do we make those decision so that we won’t regret?

2 words to summarize: Feel Good

If you feel good, you will have peace.
If you feel good, you won’t have third choice, fourth choice, bla bla bla.
If you feel good, you will not ponder and doubt.

And it is really good to be Home again, and all the familiar faces are coming back. Thank God and Praise the Lord.

Finally the time has arrived.

4pm at Cashew playing against Choa Chu Kang CSC, the team that won us 2 years ago because we only had 5 players present and they where like, full team?

Somehow or rather, I don’t have a good feeling this year. Frankly speaking, I had not been a really good captain by starting training pretty late, and it is like 1 month before the competition?

4 players down for the first match, and I am really worried.

1 is in Tekong and probably book out late tml.
1 went for cruise.
1 back out last min and I can’t persuade him.
1 went for ear operation recently and his ear is stitch up, it will open if it’s in contact (yes, that’s me)

For the past 5 years, we have been losing the first one, and then continuing our winning streak until the 5th match. I don’t want to be on the line of being knockout this year, but I want every match to play  like the last match that we are going to play when our position is on the fence.

Top 24 last year, and given our situation I hope we can still maintain, and if not top 16 if possible.

Days with only 1 side of hearing

The operation is a successful one, and I thanked God for holding me through all this time. There are bound to be risk while doing operation, and I am glad that I am not the unlucky one and for that, I would like to thank God. =)

And of cause my mother, she reach the hospital at 8.xx am but had to wait until 3.xx pm so i can discharge because I am still under the anesthesia effect which makes me giddy and nausea. Though I did not know what she did during the interval, but for that I really love her and think I should treat her a really good meal when I have fully recovered.

My left ear is pretty ugly with all the stitches and blood stains, and even now I can feel blood flowing out from my ear canal. And because of that, I had to stuff a cotton ball there to contain the blood.

Try putting yourself in my shoes and you will feel how I am feeling right now.

Irritated

Finally I am removing my wisdom tooth stitches today, because it’s so irritating when my tougue is feeling something that is not belonging to my mouth.

And my cheek is still slightly swollen. >.<

Ouch

So yeah, 4 wisdom tooth extracted. I am so glad that I was knocked out during the process because the pain when i woke up is O.o.

Washed and soaked in Detto, and I am thinking why didn’t I kept my milk tooth when i was younger. =)

the 3 I(s)

There are 3 levels of understanding in the world, namely iKnow, iUnderstand, and iRealize.

iKnow:
Tell me who don’t know that smoking is bad for health?

People know smoking is bad, but they still do so because nothing happened to them.

iUnderstand:
One of their friends/relatives past away due to lung cancer/heart disease/stroke. The main cause of the illness? Smoking.

People know smoking is bad and cause health implications, but they still smoke because nothing happening to them.

iRealize:
People went for routine body checkup and the doctor congratulate him/her, saying there he/she had contract lung cancer. Main cause of the illness? Smoking.

People finally realize  and regret smoking, because something happened to them.

Yes, I am using smoking as an example because it’s so true, and that is the closest example that I can link with.

So people, please reflect now before it’s too late.

Oh well, wisdom tooth extraction tomorrow, 4 at one go. Gg-fied
