Right.
While others are still thinking about their new year resolutions, I have decided to review my year 2009 and still thinking about my new year resolutions at the moment.
2009 had been a really good year for me, especially for the fact that I turned 21.
21 is an age that a person that has break free from being consider as minors, and granted full rights of an adult. Which means that we are”
- eligible to be jailed if convicted in court.
- deducting $2 monthly from our bank account if our savings are less than $500.
- die die also must vote during general elections.
- $1 must be deducted from our monthly salary for CDAC funds.
Just to name a few, and the list could go on.
Love life, no luck. But I think it’s ok because I’m not a despo. I should know where I stand before getting one girlfriend. IMO once attached, guys will generally have to buy 2x (insert item), which I’m not that financially stable and funded enough to do that. Sucks to be attached, and I’ve heard some of my friends who broke up with their partners said singlehood is much much more shiok. Amen to that.
Basketball wise, best achievement in CSC so far. 2009 was a very good start for my CSC, players were motivated and awesome. And of cause getting into top 24 wasn’t an easy task either. But i thanked my players for being understanding towards me. Captain will make mistakes too, but because of their understanding, I can learn from my mistakes and to learn from them as well. Of cause, there are still rooms for improvement too, which i hope that in 2010 we can achieve more and play better as a team.
And of cause, not forgetting…
First half of NSF year pass relatively fast. You couldn’t say it was short, nor it was long. But because we are still in the process of settling down from BMT to our vocation, and our vocation to our unit. All these things add up to around 8-10 months, which you could put it in a way that 1 year is almost up. I never regreted being an armor technician. No doubt that it is consider the most xiong-gest vocation of all technician, but I was happy when I were in Sungei Gedong.
Thank God, I’m lucky to be posted to air force, and my camp is very accessible from my house. Sucks that armor camp to be in Sungei Gedong, and sucks that Sungei Gedong had to be in such an ulu place. If it were to be the location of my current camp, I will be more than happy to stay in SG. Life in air force is heaven, as explained by their slogan ‘Above all‘. Shiok shiok.
And last but not least,
Basketball takes up too much my of weekends time, especially on Sunday. And even if there are no trainings, I would have played too darn hard on Saturday nights which result in me unable to wake up early. I need to think hard on this aspect, like seriously.
That pretty much sums up my 2009. And next to look out, my new year resolutions. =)
Happy New Year to all =)
