Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!!!!
In fact for the past dunno how many years, I did not really bother to sit down in front of the television and watch the NDP, because I find it waste of time. However, it’s a different story this year. At least I know more or less about SAF, which i feel is more meaningfull because you know what and what.
Unlike those days when I was still a civilian, I don’t even know how Navy/ Air Force uniform looks like, and I don’t know what tank is this and that, and the rifles that different unit hold. (The list can go on.) Although I did not manage to catch the whole NDP, but I manage to glue myself onto the chair and catch the first 1 hour of the show.
You know, old people don’t really trust and understand what we young people said. When we find something good which is important and suggest to our parents, they usually turn us down and gives negative comments. But when our relatives suggest the exact same thing to them, they give their fullest support and encourage us to do it. That’s freaking lame.
I’ve been approached by many insurance agents outside, and sometimes the deals they give are really good. When I suggest to my Mum, she turn me down. And recently, one of my cousin became an insurance agent and my aunt told my Mum almost the same thing as I did. This time, she became a total different person. You get what I mean?
Although there’s no robots transforming here and there, this is an incredibly nice show to watch. The technology is simply awesome, plus a twist in the story which I find is pretty good. If anyone got money dunno where to spend, catch this show.
