I’m getting old

No matter how fit you can be, once age catches up on you, you can’t do nuts. Even the most prestige and powerful sports car that was manufactured 20 years ago, it can’t outperform those newly manufactured ones. Parts are worn out bits by bits, and the only way to counter this is to change parts. But we can’t change our joints, our arms, our legs, our body.

I’m feeling the toll on my body already. Jogging just for 30mins and I already feel the ache on my knees, and it persist for days. Or is it because that I have not been exercising much, that’s why my knee is acting up strangely. Sigh~

Oh yeah, I have picked up a hobby recently, Gundam Modelling. It is not a cheap hobby, and not those how Tom, Dick and Harry will build it.

Right, this is what i mean by Gundam Modelling. Speaking of patience, this is even more tedious compared to fishing, and it is also a work of perfectionist. Not forgetting, the sense of achievement at the end process.

Finally I am done with NTU and NUS application. If you think it is just about filling in the fields, select the choice of courses that you want..

YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG!

I still need to write essays, but write essay also need feelings before I can pen down. Right now it’s new year mood, and I find it very hard to get into the ‘mood‘. I manage to finish it eventually, and the Art, Design and Media course is giving me a headache.

It is not like any other kind of courses, there are actually 4 faculty tests, but we only need to complete 3 out of those.

Option 4 gonna take up too much of my time, so I went ahead with Options 1 and 3. And my drawing really sucks to the max. Right now I’m still left assignment 2 which has not yet completed. Again, I don’t have the feel. If any of you have any ‘feelings’ on how to complete the drawing, do drop me a call yeah? =)

A GPA of 2.91 isn’t worth mentioning of, but I do hope I can get into a local university. I might be able to study through with little financial problem.

Last rant of the day, my tummy is getting more obvious. Time for Operation Tummy Destroyer.

Happy CNY 2010

First of all, Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! Hope you guys had fun during 初一 and 初二!

When we were still kids,

• we can run around the house,
• jump into our dad’s or mum’s lap,
• hide behind our parents’ back when we saw strangers,
• keep on visiting refrigerator and look for cold drinks,
• our butt can take up 1 of our dad’s or mum’s lap.

But now,  it’s eat, talk and drink. Relatives will bombard us with questions that are really awkward, and the most famous being: “Have you found a girlfriend / boyfriend yet?” And then they will go like ” aiyo, during my time when i was your age, I’m already married and ……. bla bla bla.” Pretty  irritating, and whatever question you answer them, they will shoot you with another one, and that is even more stress that those participants in Who wants to be a millionaire. We don’t get money when we gotten the correct answer thou, and no help line at all.

And for this year, CNY totally covered over Valentine’s Day, which is a good thing for singles. We don’t look like losers being online the whole day, feeling emotional and thinking of our past ex-es, and the damage is almost 0. And that’s pretty awesome.

Time to do some serious workout after eating so much junkies, I need to lose some weight. My United Nation is coming out soon.

The Unisssss…..

Once again, university application for diploma holders are open. This time round, I’m gonna make my $10 application fee for both NTU and NUS worth it. I still remember last year, I only put 1 or 2 choice per university, and i realize that it’s pure stupid.

It’s like betting, putting $10 in 2 choice means $5 each. Whereas putting $10 in 5 choices will meant $2 each, and hence there is a higher chance for me. And of cause, it’s up to the cohort this year, and hopefully I can get into the course that i really wanted. Even if I do not have the money to study, I can keep the ‘Congratulations Letter ‘ from them and tell my kids next time.

I guess I’m thinking too much.

a blessing in disguise

I wonder if it is a blessing in disguise, but my computer is down, like again.

It’s less than a week or perhaps a week plus 1 or 2 days since it was repaired, and i was told that my computer kana virus which will make the computer system unstable and cause it to hang.

And thanks to that, i finally sat down and use my 5 years old Fujitsu laptop. I got sick of surfing the internet, and decided to look into my files and folders hoping to find something nice.

And voola! I found a copy of my first final year project report. Without much hesitation, I open and read it. That was when emotions filled me, and I had flashbacks on times that we had together during our shoots and all.

I remembered at that time, I was heavily involved in my Student Council, really heavy. And because I have a useless assistant, most of the time I will have to do eveything and neglect my FYP team at times. But seriously, I really appreciate their understanding, and put up their tolerance with me so that we can finish our FYP sui sui.

No doubt that we had rainy days, but we know what will come after that; sunshine. And sunshine feels really good and warmth.

Great having you all as my team, and i seriously love you all.
